ECLIPS is an Australian systems engineering company that designs and fabricates purpose-built deployable capabilities. Our speciality has become logistics platforms such as the ISO 1C Flatrack for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and our Container Roll-Out Warehousing System (CROWS™). These logistics platforms are creating significant supply chain and logistic improvements in terms of material management, safety and cost. With a history in defence, emergency services and the resource sector, ECLIPS' solutions are focused upon modularity, intermodal compatibility and standardisation. ECLIPS prides itself on producing innovative solutions to complex problems, within the framework of interoperability through collaboration and teamwork.
The Joint Modular Intermodal Logistics System is a modular, scalable and intermodal packaging solution. It optimises the supply chain by utilising the full volume of standard ISO shipping containers, reduces material handling needs and can be configured for a wide variety of applications and classes of supply. It can be transported by land (road and rail), sea or air and comes fuily certified. JMILS is in use, or is planned to be in use, by a number of defence forces, as well as commercial clients.
ECLIPS Engineer Support Platforms provide a field distribution system for crane and engineer plant equipment attachments that is flexible, scalable and cost effective. The platforms protect the attachments, providing a safe and secure location to store them either at the worksite or when not in use. ECLIPS has designed and delivered a range of platforms in ISO 1C (20 feet) and ISO 1D (10 feet) configurations. Each platform has been designed specially for the attachments needed by its parent machine, whether that be a crane, an excavator, scraper, bulldozer or heavy roller.
The ECLIPS Enhanced Artillery Resupply System (EARS) is one of the most advanced tactical artillery resupply systems currently in operation. It enhances the speed, efficiency and safety of delivering ammunition to the gun line, allowing for faster reload times, greater flexibility in resupply operations and improved survivability of the artillery and its logistics. The system is flexible to the needs of any ammunition type and could be used for small arms, infantry crewed weapons, tank, or other artillery calibres. Based on the JMIC design from the ECLIPS JMILS, the Module Heavy Gun Ammunition (MHGA) has undergone significant testing for vibration, shock and environmental protection.
The ECLIPS designed and patented Container Rollout Warehousing System (CROWS) and Pipe Intermodal Logistic System (PILS) form the backbone of the ECLIPS Intermodal Logistic Platform suite of products. CROWS and PILS have a number of significant advantages when it comes to maximising the efficiency of the supply chain. They allow for reduced time to load, reduced crane lifts and a reduction in manual handling required. CROWS optimises the load space in TEU assets, allowing the cargo to be loaded outside the container, secured correctly then safely placed into the container. CROWS is a versatile system, allowing cargo to be loaded onto the platform at the factory, creating logistic speed and efficiency, and reducing project costs.
